Niko skipped most fights.Instead, they decided to blast through entire areas in order to take them down while running through The Lands Between, only stopping to defeat bosses that are mandatory such as Margit and one of the Fell Omen. Niko beat a few optional bosses in the past and suffered a lot of damage through the course, but they were able to take down Elden Ring with the starting armor, without taking the fatal blow. Wild!
What I find most impressive about the speedrun of niko is how skilled it is. He employed a few tricks, one of which resets enemies, but keeps your position by swiftly closing the race. However, niko proved to be not a slouch. The majority of enemies were defeated within a few seconds and boss battles did not last longer than 10 or more minutes. This is what I like most about FromSoftware games: watching people who have a solid understanding of the genre completely take them down.
